We [Pat & Linda] had a dream that has come true, a vision of working within the African American communities in San Bernardino to fight HIV/AIDS.  From a dream and vision Brothers And Sisters In Action is now a reality.

Patricia Green-Lee, CEO & Founder of B.A.S.I.A.

Patricia Green-Leeholds a Bachlor of Science 
in Behavioral Science & Human Services.
She is Certificated in Substance Abuse and
Domestice Violence Counseling.
Patricia will persue her Masters of Science in
Health & Human Services in 2007.

Linda Hart, Co-Founder of B.A.S.I.A.

Linda Hart is Co-founder of B.A.S.I.A,
a community activist working to make changes within 
Black/Afircan American communities in San Bernardino County.  
Linda Hart has taken the ideaologies of B.A.S.I.A to Savanah, Georgia.

Mission Statement

Taking an innovative approach to HIV/AIDS education for
Blacks/African Americans, B.A.S.I.A.’S
mission is to provide educational, client advocacy,
prevention and intervention services
that will assist Black/African American
and the under served in San Bernardino County.  
B.A. S.I.A’S motto is,
“My people are destroyed for the lack of Knowledge:”
Hosea 4:6

To provide education, a clear understanding,

and resources that will result in programs

for intervention and prevention against the HIV/AIDS epidemic

in the Black/African American communities in

San Bernardino County.

 
Our Programs

 

Client Advocacy Assistance

Client Education on Fighting for their Rights Regarding HIV/AIDS

Client Education on Self-Advocacy pertaining to
HIV/AIDS services and additional services
provided within
San Bernardino County.

We [B.A.S.I.A] will advocate on behalf of the client on a
case-by-case bases ONLY.

 

Develop a plan that will address the changing face of
HIV/AIDS for Black/African Americans in San Bernardino County.

 

We inform the African American Community of
HIV/AIDS policies that affect communities and their families.
